The Board of Bemidji Independent School District No. 31 has proposed to renew its current referendum revenue authorization of $501 per pupil, which expires in 2008 by replacing it with a new referendum revenue authorization of the same amount. The proposed referendum revenue authorization would be applicable for six (6) years unless otherwise revoked or reduced as provided by law. The new authorization would be effective beginning in 2009, the first year it is to be levied. The additional revenue will be used to finance school operations. The proposed referendum revenue authorization would be applicable for six (6) years unless otherwise revoked or reduced as provided by law. The authorization would be effective beginning in 2009, the first year it is to be levied.
