Approval of School District Bond Issue
Shall the school board of Independent School District No. 777 (Benson Public Schools) be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $26,300,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including the demolition and removal of the existing auditorium and junior high school facility and the construction and equipping of a new auditorium addition; the construction of security improvements to the entrances at the high school and the Northside Elementary School facilities; the construction and equipping of additional classrooms and related facilities at the high school and of additional space at the Northside Elementary School for child care and early childhood programs; and the construction and equipping of a community multiuse cafeteria and activity space and the remodeling of the school kitchen at the Northside Elementary School facility?
