Local Office Election Results Reporting Pilot

 

The Office of the Secretary of State is piloting the reporting of election results for a limited number of local offices.

 

This service is being piloted in 15 counties and includes selected city and school district elections. The offices reported are limited and do not necessarily include all local office elections in Minnesota or the participating counties.

 

The following counties are participating by reporting the results for some or all of its local races: Anoka, Carlton, Cook, Crow Wing, Dakota, Houston, Isanti, Kandiyohi, Mower, Roseau, and Wright. The following counties helped by providing input and testing: Cass, Goodhue, Sherburne, and Stearns. Office of the Secretary of State thanks each of these counties for their continued support and input to the local office election results reporting pilot.

 

Minnesota is one of the first states to pilot result reporting for local races. In the future the Office of the Secretary of State will continue to advance results reporting by expanding the pilot to include more local jurisdictions and/or reporting local jurisdictions statewide.
